Hey,
now as some of you will no doubt know, Download festival is next weekend (Download is a metal festival at Donington Racetrack each year) and I will be going. As I'm going from the Wednesday to the Monday I will be absent for the duration of 2 updates. I am working like a beaver to not miss updates but there is a distinct possibility that I won't be able to get them all done in time. I will almost certainly have next Fridays comic up, so check back for that, and I'll say in the comment if I managed to get Monday's done as well.
Currently there is a good chance of me making it as I'm already 5/8s of the way through next Monday's comic. So that means that I'll probably be halfway through NEXT Fridays comic by Saturday. Which gives me a good chance to have them all done.
OK, now thats all over, have you seen the latest endeavours to 'help' Africa by Bono. Teaming up with Nike! Now, Nike are well known for all the good they've done in the majority world. After all they're a major employer of teenage girls in their factories. But what I want to know is how they are going to help stop aids. Now this is just a guess so it may be wrong, but I think that they are going to halt aids by making the guy raping their workers, you know, those 14-17 year old girls, to wear a condom. I am sceptical of course, because they aren't doing ANYTHING to make sure that all those horrific accidents that occur in sweatshops don't cause infection. And there are a LOT of accidents in sweatshops.
Ona light note to finish, my little sister has got a new hamster, who is called Rupert and is very, VERY sweet. Although right now he is trying to eat my lovely new pencils so is slightly less sweet. Till next time,
