DomDom, as a person, is very devoted. To his friends, to his beliefs and to his interests. Because of this he is quick to defend himself and his actions and this often portrays itself as him being quick to anger although he is really very peaceable. He is a hardened activist, having been on countless marches, protests and forums and even getting wound up into a couple of riots (albeit as a member of the anarchist Black Cross, providing first aid assistance). In terms of his beliefs is vegan, an ecologist, an anti-authoritarian, a pacifist and most importantly, a socialist. He is also an advocate for the legalisation of many drugs, especially cannabis. However, to paint him as just an activist would be wrong. Music is very important to him, especially metal and punk. He also a bit of a gamer, and a big fan of the FPS genre, playing any game on any system (although he will only play terrorist in CounterStrike | ||
KrisKris' mother was a violently radical feminist in the late 1960s, a trait that Kris has inherited. Where she gets her veganism, anarchism and ecologism is anybody's guess though. Whilst she definately considers herself an activist, she holds little stock for organised actions, believing that true change can only be precipitated from sponteneity and changes in the sub-concious of the masses. Kris likes to claim to be, 're-examing the architectorial confines of modern society and public space through actively destroying modern humyn's concepts of movement' although in reality she's talking about skateboarding and parkour. As a part of her wishing to help create a shift in the public subconscious she also takes part in culture jamming. Another important part of Kris' life is music and she can often be heard quoting Emma Goldman, 'If I can't dance, it ain't my revolution.' |
